Here are some illustrations I did for @womenphotog

Here are some illustrations I did for @womenphotograph, with the leadership and vision of their awesome founder and exec director @dzalcman. This set of illustrations feature the cameras of eight historic women and nonbinary photographers. Here is the first set of 4 photojournalists: Lola Alvarez Bravo, Margaret Bourke-White, Tsuneko Sasamoto, Gerda Taro. Flip through to see the illustrations and to learn a little more about them.

Women Photograph is a nonprofit that elevates the voices of women and nonbinary visual journalists, to shift the makeup of the photojournalism community and ensure that the industry's chief storytellers are as diverse as the communities they hope to represent.

They run a database that includes more than 1,400 independent documentary photographers based in 100+ countries. They also operate an annual series of project grants, a year-long mentorship program, an annual skills-building workshop, and collect data on hiring and publishing statistics in the visual media industry.
